Originally premiered at the Gala Concert of the 2014 European Brass Band Championships in Perth Concert Hall, this atmospheric lyrical solo was arranged especially for solo baritone and to feature vocal and clarsach (Scottish harp) soloist, Josie Rose.
This special live performance of Alone with my Thoughts was selected to feature on the Highlights from the European Brass Band Championships 2014 CD which is available to purchase as Compact Disc (click here) or individual mp3 download (click here).
Now available with standard brass band accompaniment, it has been arranged for baritone (or euphonium) soloist and brass band by Brenden Wheeler and with the kind permission of Erik Spence.
An optional 1st baritone part is included in the accompaniment, however it is not essential to the score as the line is covered throughout.
